When Laramie was 15 months old she still could not grasp how to walk.. we were concerned so we decided to do a brain MRI. It showed she had a white matter brain injury. We did not know how this could’ve happened. We decided to do Genetic testing, which took us a year to get done. On July 19th, 2021 we found out our beautiful baby girl was diagnosed with INAD.
INAD has stolen every skill Laramie has ever learned, but it has not taken her precious smile and laugh. It is incredibly tough on her as it affects every single part of her body. She is a fighter and will continue to be the strong girl she has always been.
Laramie enjoys watching her tablet, riding her horses, and she enjoys playing with her sister, brother, and cousins. She loves when mama and daddy give her kisses and lovins.
Cotton candy, suckers, and Mac and cheese!
Cocomellon, Goo goo & Gaga!
Old McDonald had a farm.
Courage is being scared to death… and saddling up anyway….. – John Wayne
It is extremely difficult to know our 3 year olds daughter has a terminal disease. Especially knowing that we as her parents are the complete cause of it. We will continue to love our baby through this journey. She is our light in this terrible storm.
Laramie’s mom is Carli, and her daddy is Mason. Her brother is Easton, age 11, and her sister Kimber, age 7 months.
